What to see starting from via Teulada in Rome
If your trip starts with a car rental in Rome, and you are in via Teulada, it will be really difficult to give you priorities on what to see, in practice you have the entire Eternal
City and all its endless beauty in front of you!
Castel Sant'Angelo and San Pietro
You are near the Prati district, one of the most central and famous in Rome but you are also close to the Lungotevere Flaminio which offers a wonderful glimpse of the Tiber river.
Following its course, you will get closer to the "sacred temples" of Roman times. You could start from Castel Sant'Angelo, initially thought of as a majestic funeral
building of Emperor Hadrian and which later became a fearsome prison and papal residence fortified by towers and bastions and continue crossing via della Conciliazione which culminates
in San Pietro which, with its incredible Basilica, the largest of all Christianity, and its loggia, is the most famous of the squares in the world. Here art reigns supreme:
from the famous Pietà by Michelangelo located in the basilica to the Vatican Museums, a heritage of unspeakable beauty culminating in the Sistine Chapel. You can then continue
along the Lungotevere Gianicolense and visit the Gianicolo belvedere until you reach the inevitable Trastevere district, famous for its authentic Roman style. The narrow and colourful alleys,
the many typical taverns. As soon as you cross the Tiber you will have at your disposal the best the city has to offer: The Pantheon, built in Roman times, and initially a pagan
temple, which later became a basilica, with its famous circular structure and the splendid dome with a central "eye-hole".
Piazza Navona and Piazza di Spagna
The immense Piazza Navona with Bernini's fountains, and again the grandiose Trevi fountain (where it is a must to throw the coin in), will lead you to the
bustling via Condotti, full of numerous luxury shops, with its many crossroads between the most popular in the world by those who want to immerse themselves in the refined and elegant shopping of
the most coveted fashion maisons. From here you will arrive at Piazza di Spagna and, in front of you, the most famous staircase in the world will open: Trinità dei Monti.
Once at the top it will be easy to reach Via Veneto and finally relax in one of the many bars that made this street famous thanks to Maestro Federico Fellini and the film “La dolce vita”.
Final steps
It is worth making a stop and then continuing to discover the Imperial Forums, the Colosseum, the Ara Pacis, the mouth of truth ... and in the evening take advantage of the many Roman
theatres to conclude your visit in the capital worthily!
