August 3, 2023: Sicily by Car is listed on the Italian Stock Exchange

Today, Sicily by Car has officially started trading on Euronext Growth Milan, a multilateral trading facility organized and managed by Borsa Italiana.

The resolution approving admission to trading was ratified on August 1, 2023.

Here is the statement by Tommaso Dragotto, Founder, President, and CEO of Sicily by Car: “On the 60th anniversary of the company’s founding, our listing on the stock exchange marks the beginning of a new corporate era, where innovation and internationalization become the cornerstones of our development—areas in which we are determined to invest with consistency. Sicily by Car is making a historic leap forward and opening up to new horizons, reinforcing its stability thanks to fresh financial resources and an increasingly widespread and structured organization. We chose to go public in order to allow a broad audience of Italian and international investors to support and share in our ambitious goal of national and international expansion in a sector with high growth potential. We have made a commitment to everyone who has placed their trust in us, and we intend to honor it by pursuing a path focused on value creation, supported by the adoption of a dividend policy, and on sustainability, which has long been one of our defining values. I would like to thank the shareholders of Indstars 4 and the entire Sicily by Car team, whose competence and dedication made these milestones possible.”

The company currently operates in Albania, Malta, France, Austria, Poland, Montenegro, and Portugal, and further openings are planned across Europe through strategic partnership agreements.

The business model is based on the widespread distribution of the “SBC Europe” brand through a network of local agencies and affiliates ready to enter into long-term collaborations based on service reciprocity, through co-branded commercial partnerships.

SBC has established B2B partnerships with major international car rental brokers, ensuring global service coverage and reaching a position of leadership with partners such as: (Booking.com, AutoEurope, Expedia, Cartrawler, Zuzuche/Qeeq, Carmore Korea, Rentcars Brasil, FTI Touristik, Ofran). The Group has shown increasing focus on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) issues, leading to the gradual conversion of its fleet to green vehicles.

Today, approximately 40% of the total fleet and 64% of the recently added vehicles are low-emission.

The company’s headquarters is fully energy self-sufficient, thanks to the installation of a photovoltaic system capable of generating 187 kW.

The Company aims to consolidate its presence in Italy and accelerate its expansion into foreign markets. The strategic plan is based on the following guidelines: Growth of the B2C segment abroad through M&A operations and the launch of the “SBC Europe”
brand, Strengthening of the B2B segment (car replacement and corporate rentals) aimed at diversifying the business.

SbC intends to apply for admission to listing on Euronext Milan and, if the requirements are met, on the STAR segment within 24 months from the start date of trading, taking into account market conditions and other business development opportunities for the SbC Group.
