Sicily by Car (SBC:IM), an Italian company listed on Euronext Growth Milan and one of the leading operators in short- and medium-term leisure car rental, announces that starting tomorrow, August 1st, its new rental office will begin operations near the Gago Coutinho International Airport in Faro, a renowned Portuguese tourist destination in the Algarve region.
The Sicily by Car rental office is located just 1 km from the airport and is easily accessible thanks to a complimentary shuttle service provided to customers.
With a footprint of over 5,000 square meters, the Faro location stands as one of the Company's largest operational offices in the Iberian Peninsula, featuring an on-site car wash facility and charging stations for electric vehicles.
The new location will offer customers a fleet of approximately 350 vehicles—most of which are hybrid and plug-in models to meet the demands of a market increasingly focused on eco-friendly mobility solutions. All vehicles are latest-generation models equipped with the newest safety and comfort technologies.
The rental office will operate from 07:00 AM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Sunday.
This additional international opening continues the development plan in the Iberian Peninsula, following the footsteps of already operational offices in Valencia, Alicante, Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Lisbon (airport and downtown), and Porto. It mirrors the Italian business model based on a widespread presence across domestic and international airports, as well as top tourist destinations.
