Rome, 27 November – The seventh stage of the CEOforLIFE Awards 2025 has just concluded. The event, held at the Montecitorio Club House, brought together business leaders, institutions, industry experts, and innovative organizations. Giordano Fatali, President & Founder of CEOforLIFE, welcomed the award recipients.
Sicily by Car, a car rental company among the leading operators in the national market and rapidly expanding internationally, received the prestigious recognition in the Made in Italy and Sustainable Tourism category in the presence of its President and Founder, Tommaso Dragotto.
Always oriented toward leisure business, Sicily by Car has been ahead of its time in developing projects dedicated to green mobility and promoting a culture of sustainability through pioneering and highly innovative initiatives.
Based on these principles, in 2018 the Donna Sicilia project was launched: an eco-tour of Sicily’s historic residences designed to protect the island’s environment through the rental of 100% electric vehicles—an unrivaled initiative, still the first of its kind in Europe.
Created with the aim of combining mobility, responsible tourism, sustainability, and local identity, the Donna Sicilia project has selected over 20 noble residences, offering an innovative and ecological tourism model adapted to the car rental sector. The initiative established a collaborative network among private entities, bringing together everything that, in the collective imagination, represents Sicily: the land of the Gattopardi, of historic noble residences, ancient artisanal traditions, and unique destinations such as Taormina, Syracuse, the Archaeological Park of Agrigento, and the Baroque city of Noto.
A mix of experiential tourism, territorial marketing, and new business models that has proven both successful and truly innovative.
President Tommaso Dragotto stated:

On 9 December, CEOforLIFE and Task Force Italia will present the 2025 position paper at the Chamber of Deputies, summarizing the year’s activities and the most advanced development models inspired by the most virtuous entrepreneurial practices for the progress of Italy.
