Palermo — Sicily by Car (SBC:IM), an Italian company listed on Euronext Growth Milan and a leading operator in short- and mid-term leisure car rentals, continues its European expansion with the opening of a new operational office in Palma de Mallorca starting July 9. This move follows closely after the recent launch of a new office in Porto, Portugal.
Located just eight minutes from Palma Airport — currently Spain’s third busiest airport with over 33 million passengers (source: AENA) — the new facility spans over 9,000 square meters and boasts a fleet of approximately 400 vehicles across all categories, including 7- and 9-seater models. Customers will benefit from additional services such as a free shuttle to and from the airport and 220 covered parking spaces. The office is also equipped with a car wash and solar-powered charging stations for electric vehicles.
The rental service will be available seven days a week, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
This new opening marks another milestone in Sicily by Car’s international growth strategy, which focuses on establishing a strong presence in Europe’s most tourist-friendly locations.
Tommaso Dragotto, Chairman of Sicily by Car, stated:
“Palma de Mallorca, with its key airport and strong tourist traffic, is a flagship location in Sicily by Car’s development project. It underscores the Iberian Peninsula as a critical area for our internationalization strategy. We will continue advancing our foreign expansion plan as previously announced to the market.”
